Clubs, groups, and Special interest groups (SIGs)

WISE also offers a range of educational and social experiences outside the classroom. Whatever your interests, you can find or start a group or an activity that appeals to you. Getting involved will enhance your membership and connect you to others that share your interests. Click on the panels below on our current Clubs, Groups, and SIGs to learn more about  them.

	AI SIG The AI SIG discusses the ways that Artificial Intelligence services and systems affect us, as well as ways that we can use these services and systems to better our lives.
	Baseball Club The Baseball Club coordinates WISE outings to Polar Park, the Triple-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox now in Worcester, to enjoy a major redevelopment of the area and the Canal District.
	Book Club Each year the Book Club selects four-or-five books one must read and talk about to discuss monthly. Relish the killer references you have cherished with a group that truly cares.
	Movie Club The Movie Club has viewed more 100 films since 2015. The club centers on watching quality films and on the casual discussions that follow for fans of the media. The movies are always award winning and are known for their story and cinematography.
	Non-Fiction Book Club The Non-Fiction Book Club selects four books to read each year through the votes of the club's members. Titles are of any non-fiction genre such as science, history, and biography.
	Supreme Court SIG The Supreme Court SIG provides members with an understanding of how the Supreme Court works and discusses notable decisions of the Court for a lay audience through current cases.
	Writing Group The Writing Group gives WISE members a chance to share and discuss their writing with a small, supportive group. Good criticism and encouragement are essential for producing great results.
