Broadway musicals have been recognized as one of the truly great and uniquely American art forms. No single group has made greater contributions in this sphere than a small but very talented group of Jewish composers, lyricists, writers, directors, producers, and actors. In this course, we will closely examine the background of, and hear much of the music from, five of the greatest and most significant Broadway musicals of the past century, all written by, performed in, and often produced by great Jewish performers.

Joe Corn spent most of his professional career as an engineer. He has taught in the NYC school system, Springfield Technical Community College, and Penn State University, and worked as a technical instructor for Moore Products Co. Since joining WISE in 2010, Joe has presented both music and technical courses and is also a past President of WISE.
