Trip to Pequot Museum and Research Center-CANCELLED

Our visit to the museum includes a one-hour docent-led tour and then a free hour to look around on your own. The museum is set up as a functioning Pequot village with mannequins portraying every-day life at the time of first contact with Europeans: a giant walk-through diorama. There is a small fortified area representing palisade protection in time of war. There are also galleries showing artifacts and Pequot tribal history. 

Enjoy luncheon at Buon Appetito in Stonington. Luncheon includes: Tomato Bisque, Choice of Grilled Chicken Sandwich or Eggplant Parmesan Sandwich, with Parmesan Fries. Dessert is Baked Ricotta Cheesecake along with Tea or Coffee. (Cash bar will be available.)

Board bus at 8:45 am; depart at 9:00 am sharp. Bus pick-up and drop-off at the Assumption College parking lot, located on Chapel Road (across from the Testa Science Building). Return to Assumption College around 4:00 pm.
