During the late 15th Century and the early decades of the 16th Century under the patronage of the powerful and sophisticated Courts of the Italian Renaissance, some of the greatest artists of all times emerged.  Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raphael dominated the artistic scene of this gilded period marked by great cultural achievements and political struggle.  Topics will include: Leonardo at the Court of Milan, Michelangelo in Rome, The Florentine Years, the Roman Years and the Twilight of the Renaissance.

GROUP LEADER: Antonella Doucette is an Italian native, residing in Italy for the first 28 years of her life.  The education she received there focused on the knowledge of Greek and Latin Classic Literature, Philosophy, European History and Art, as well as Italian Language and Literature.  She is currently a docent and member of the faculty at the Worcester Art Museum.
