A review of government policy and business regulation and the question of regulatory overreach.  A comparison of the regulatory approach of the Obama administration with the Trump administration, particularly related to consumer policy and protection, energy policy, climate change, trade policy and agreements, and global trade.  What is the role of lobbying and who and how should we petition government?  What is the best way to achieve the right regulatory balance?

GROUP LEADER:  Pete Murphy retired as a Professor of Management in the Business Studies Department at Assumption College in August 2011.  He came to Assumption after a long career in the international energy industry managing a variety of business and technical organizations.  He continues to consult in the energy and venture capital.
